AREA PROFILE
Icicle Seafoods, Inc. has been buying seafood in Western Alaska since 1978. Icicle was one of the early pioneers in the use of floating processors in Western Alaska with the construction of the Bering Star and the Arctic Star. Icicle Seafoods currently operates four floating processors in Western Alaskan fisheries, including the Arctic Star, Bering Star, Coastal Star, and Discovery Star. Historically, Icicle has participated in most Western Alaska crab, roe herring, and salmon fisheries. We operate seasonal support facilities in Dillingham, Naknek, Dutch Harbor, St. Paul, and Unalakleet. Our commitment to the residents and the fishermen of Western Alaska remains a strong part of our overall Alaskan seafood program.

We can generally be reached in the Seattle office except during late April through July when we are in Alaska. Our Dillingham facility usually opens in late April for herring and our Naknek office opens around the first week of June in preparation for the Bristol Bay season.
